Carbide scrap buying for Canadian industry
Carbide Buyer Canada works with CNC machine shops, toolrooms, mold and die companies, aerospace and automotive suppliers, maintenance departments and industrial sellers. We review worn or surplus carbide separately from ordinary steel scrap because tungsten carbide has a different composition, density and recycling value.
Materials accepted for quote review
Common lots include carbide inserts, solid carbide end mills, drill bits, reamers, rods, buttons, dies, nozzles, wear parts, sludge, swarf and mixed tooling. Used, chipped, broken and obsolete carbide can be reviewed. Clear photos help distinguish solid carbide from high-speed steel, ceramic inserts and steel-bodied tools.
How to request a current quote
Send a wide photo of the complete lot, close views of the tools or markings, approximate net weight and your city. Keep obvious steel holders and unrelated metal outside the carbide weight when possible. The quote reflects the material, grade, cleanliness, sorting, weight, location and current tungsten and cobalt market conditions.
Pickup and payment across service areas
Pickup support is available for confirmed lots across Ontario and Quebec industrial corridors, with other Canadian arrangements reviewed by location and volume. We confirm the material and collection plan before anything moves. Approved pickups are weighed with the seller, and payment details are confirmed as part of the quote process.
